Lol, it is all up in the air, waiting on more pics to I can go look at it. Might be too much rust for me to want to deal with.

1.75 under mufflers, lol. I've given thought to deleting the mufflers and just running straight 3" out the back under the bumper, but don't know if it would be a restriction?

I'm running dynomax ultra flos. I didn't try removing them after Doug removed his mufflers and gained virtually nothing. Which surprised me. Eric L

i dont see how a bullet could be a restriction. i have the longest bullets they make and they do a good job at reducing noise for a straight through muffler. i do have a magnaflow x pipe in line that i've always wondered about. i could see it being a restriction.

I know the factory racers used to use aluminum fasteners back in the day. Not sure how much it added up to. You are lucky you don't drive a brick like me.

yeah, I dont really think the bullets could hold back much. Mine are the 12 or 16s I think. i dont like open headers anyway. Mines close enough to that now.

FWIW I ran 4" bullets on my 505 BBC and gained NOTHING dropping the exhaust. Engine dynoed at 800 fwhp. On the other hand my turbo style dynomax could be a restriction, but if Doug's flow masters and tail pipes wernt a restriction, I doubt if mine are. But it's always worth checking I guess

LOL, you caught me red handed. When I'm not murdering and decapating raccoons with my valiant, I'm Rollin in my Buick regal Ferrari retard ride, lol. At least the guy has a sence of humor about it, lol.

That way when somebody looks at the bumper of the car and says, "what kinda retard puts a Ferrari sticker on the bumper of a Buick", they can look up at the rear window and say, "oh, that kinda retard", lol. Eric L

It's just those dead things floatin' in the pond that you were poking with a stick gettin' even

I have 3" Dynomax SuperTurbos too. I have wondered if they might be a restriction, but not enough to cut on my exhaust.

Who runs rod end suspension parts on the street? Noise? comfort? longevity.

I still want a comfortable nice driving car but some of my rear end plans over the winter may require me to run rear control arms with rod ends. Nobody makes what I need with rotor joints/jonny joints like I want

Thoughts?

I have thought about running the UMI stuff. They have their version of Roto Joints that look pretty good. They have just about any configuration one could dream up for A-Bodies.

Get in touch with Jason at PA Racing and let him know what you're looking for. He'll custom make the control arms with whatever ends you want. rod-ended arms are going to be noisy, plain and simple. He is a racer and knows his stuff, and is passionate about building quality parts and giving good customer support. you simply won't be disappointed.
