Going solid cam or .650+ lift?

I never hear anything bad about Jesels and lots of guys like T&D. They are $1000+, but they are good.

If you are new to LS engines, you will probably be very surprised to learn that most everyone from enthusiasts to engine builders will tell you that the stock rockers are recommended for sub .650" lift LS engines with hydraulic roller lifters. I found it hard to believe too when I first got into the LS stuff. But, if you do some searching/reading, you will see what I mean.

High ratio rockers can be a great choice for some applications. However, and you may already know this, roller rockers are heavier and require a different valve spring than is optimum with stock rockers. You will need more nose pressure to handle that additional weight. Also, higher ratio rockers work better with cam that was designed for them.

Are you needing a LS1....LS3.... Or LS7 Rocker set-up? That stuff is way cheaper here and USPS priority shipping should not be to crazy since it all fits in a flat rate box easily.

Go the stock rockers but do the trunion upgrade. Check gumtreen ebay or facebook groups, shoukd be able to get set cheap.

I run that on mild L98 spinning to 7500 rpm, running 10.0 in light vk
