Hope it comes with a tuning manual/DVD. Looks interesting, but I'm sure it's expensive. Probably just as much or more than an aftermarket EFI system. I'd love to play with one though.

I thought I saw that it has built in nitrous spraybars, wow , that's a "wish I'd thought of that one'. deal.
If you figure in cost of a good plate and add that into carb price,it looks even better.
Helpful to guys that have run out of hood clearance and do not have room for a plate.

Some pretty big claims. I just don't see how it could possible to gain that much power, but I am eager to see it run.

Seems more like a "mechanical fuel injection" to me. That thing is going to be over $2000, ill bet on it. Eric L

According to the designer, or someone involved with the design (or someone completely full of it), it will be around $2300 without the fancy air cleaner and $2800 with.

PS- If you decide to watch the video posted, do yourself a favor and mute the volume right away. The "music" is this short little blurb that repeats over and over.......and over.

Agree. For that kind of coin....FAST 2.0 would be my choice.

I am wondering who the target market is for a $2400 carburetor.

Looks like a load of crap, I'd say someone is in for a world of disappointment when these don't sell.

Although I am sure a few rednecks with too much cash will get duped somewhere along the way.

Memories of Scott Kendig and his square box that was run in Pro-Stock in the early 70's. Fast forward to mid 80's. Predator comes out. They bought the rights. Summit Racing and Bob Chandler (Big Foot) helped market it. They added an accelerator pump and idle screw for street use.

On another note I doubt the extra HP is at peak or max rpm. Down low maybe. A motor does not care how it gets fuel. You could use a bottle and trickle it in . It does care about being mixed with air so it gets fine mist and proper atomization. The slide valve is like an SU, Solex or CV carb on older sports cars and alot of Japanese motorbikes.

Look at Pro-Sytems single barrel carb. Don't forget the "Flying Toilet".

Not a new idea by anymeans.
The idea is about not flooding an engine with more fuel and air than it needs. Vacuum secondary carbs. The GM Quadrajet. That big air-valve on the rear.
All same ideas. I'm not sure how efficient it can be. A normal carb has ventri to help speed up the air as it passes the booster.

All about A/F ratio and keeping fuel suspended in air to prevent puddling. Liquid fuel will not burn. That's why carbs have air bleeds.

The only questions I have about the carb are how it performs and what it will actually cost. What type of real world tests did you run on it the quantify the power increase claims?

guys, just so we are clear, there will be a buy back guarantee for absolute minimum of 10 HP gain. I was told that basically we dont want unhappy people to have the carb, if they arent happy we might as well buy them back and get them in the hands of somebody who will benefit from the carb. Negative publicity is not what we are looking for.

these things are the real deal, we will have dyno results on customer cars within the month. Right now we are waiting on our newest final designs to finish up at the machine shop and get bolted on the car. Right now we are running a "modified" last gen carb so dyno results would not reflect the final configuration, and we want no issues with people questioning the results.
