Default cam gurus thoughts on my new cam

Specs are .632/.596, 251/266 @ .050
108.0 intake center line
112.0 lobe seperation.
My combo is 370 with as cast tfs 220 heads, Victor jr. Qft 850. Sledgehammer plate kit.
Car ran 5.70's with a polluter cam. The polluter specs are .610/.612, 242/244@ .050. 112.0 ICL. 112 lobe seperation. How much do you guys think this cam will pick up if any. I am hoping to gain 2 or 3 tenths on the same size shot. Thanks in advance.

Hard to say what it should pick up, due to many different variables, but that's quite a but more aggressive. If the rest of your combo can match it then it should do well obviously

If always on bottle would push out to 114 lsa

Agressive cam, need good flow through intake and heads

Thanks for the input. Tooley speced it for nitrous.

35+ degrees of overlap with 112 degs, drops to 30 with 114 lsa. less blown out of the exhaust.

I would try this first. Tooley is the man, he spec'd my stock bottom end 6.0L cam and it was a monster!
That cam will run hard!

Oh yeah. I am going to run it and expect it to pick up. I was just wanting to see what others thought about the specs.

I'd be checking piston to valve clearance very carefully. And dogsballs like a couple of things cam related, I have noticed your understanding is the opposite to how things actually work.

Looking at the valve events this is no doubt ideal for the given nitrous application. Getting the crap out the exhaust is exactly what is needed, and overlap is of little importance.

This cam has been spec'd by Brian Tooley, enough said.
