This sounds like I'm getting old, but I think my LQ4 with stock milled heads and a Trex cam went 11.18 at 121 in my 89 RS. That was a 1.55 60 foot, car was 3450 with me in the seat. Seems you should get more out of it. Wonder if you have a converter issue or something else?

This is on street radials too and a terrible 1.8-60' time. Bump up the timing at the track till u stop gaining mph. Make sure you are getting WOT at carb. Sounds stupid but I found out my gas pedal was bent. Went .20 faster after I fixed it
