All that greatly depends on a lot of other things:

cam specs
compression
who ported the heads
transmission
converter
rear end
weight of the car
tires
suspension
DA of the track
ambient temperature and humidity that day

This sounds like I'm getting old, but I think my LQ4 with stock milled heads and a Trex cam went 11.18 at 121 in my 89 RS. That was a 1.55 60 foot, car was 3450 with me in the seat. Seems you should get more out of it. Wonder if you have a converter issue or something else?

Doug did you make multiple passes with each timing setting or just make one at 32 and one at 34 and so on?

This is on street radials too and a terrible 1.8-60' time. Bump up the timing at the track till u stop gaining mph. Make sure you are getting WOT at carb. Sounds stupid but I found out my gas pedal was bent. Went .20 faster after I fixed it

What does your timing curve look like? my best times came from a flat timing table. It also drove better on the street like that.

what's your timing below 2k? I would run mine at 31* flat from 1,000 RPM to redline.

1 each...time limited
Almost hot lapped...just enough time to load up new table and off again.

I always run tr55 gapped around .55 for n/a combos. you're good for a shot of nitrous with that plug.
