The headers look very similar to my dynatechs. Im not sure about stock k member, all of ours have aje. I used stock trans crossmember and mount from like a 1970 chevy truck I think. Works perfect.

Ordered some swap plates and 2004 GT solid motor mounts. I ll try this first and see how far off I am. I also found a water pump a mile down the road for 30 bucks!

This weeks list

- Find alternator, stock manifolds, and starter
- Pull fender liners
- Remove air bag sensors
- Remove windshield wiper fluid reservoir
- Windsheild wiper motor
- Pull Dash and remove ac stuff and heater core

So the motor mounts were way off, as expected but had to try. I have ordered the dirty dingo conversion plates for stock k member and some cheap shorty headers from ebay.

I have to say that these DD motor mounts are awesome. Tons of adjustments and are very high quality. Took less than an hour to get the motor where I wanted and tightened up. I chose to go as close to the firewall as possible even though i have a solid 2 to 3 inches from the oil pan to the stock k member. Also the oil pan hangs less than an inch below the k member. This is a drag only car so I am not worried.

Hummer pan for the win!

Headers mocked up. There may be enough room to run them the proper way, I am going to give it try tonight after work. But i'm good with the forward facing exhaust and will probably run these when i slap a turbo on this next spring or summer.

Also by sliding the motor back, it looks like the th350 will be very close to the stock t5 cross member.

Where did you get those? How much? I have a ford AJE K member and would rather just use those if I can. Would keep me from swapping from one K member to another.

only thing that I didn't like about the dirty dingos was how high they sat. I use 4.6 mounts on my aje (old style). This way I can keep my flat hood

Solid motor mounts were 40. The Dirty Dingo adjustable swap plates were 189.

I contemplated buying a welder and fabing them as well.

It does feel high. With this intake, the carb is just about even with the fenders.. but I expected to not be able to run the stock hood.

the pan doesnt hang as low so that was a bit of a plus.

If you will grind the welds loose on the trans member where it bolts to frame mounts it will slide back and forth,, what I did.

what shorty headers are them?

Badass. I was looking at last night thinking that if I could just slide that forward an inch life would be good.

The headers are ebay junkers but the quality and fit is great so far. Came with bolts for flanges and collectors along with gaskets. 108 bucks shipped.
