6014 all day. Not even a question unless scraping by on a budget looking for used parts.

There is something to be said for dirt cheap. If I could get a known good box at half the price of new it would be hard to justify paying up for new. Keep in mind some boxes are 10+ years old now.

One huge advantage of the new box is supporting either 24x or 58x. If you do a lot of swaps it will give you much more flexibility.

6014 comes with MAP sensor built in and has a selector switch to select tunes instead of the "pills". That's probably the most important difference.

1 The harness is 1000% nicer
2 Can run both 24 and 58 tooth motors comes with both harness adapters in the box.
3 The box data logs, has individual cylinder timing
4 has launch retard
5 has delay features on nitrous retard
6 box will hold multiple custom tunes that you can select by a rotary switch on the box
7 is able to ad or pull timing with coolant temp sensor
8 has built in 2.5 bar map
9 it connects via usb with auto port detection.
10 uses same software as the msd grid

Quick Reply: should i get the MSD 6010 or 6014 box ???
