Default Help with 6ls 6010

I bought a 93 silverado with a 6.0 swap has carb and intake with the 6ls was trying to hook up my auto meter tack and the yellow wire from the box is hooked to a 12v switched hot wire and if you un hook it the truck will not start anyone have this issue before or why the tack wire is hooked to a 12v switched source.

Dig in to the harness and verify it is the correct wiring all the way to the box/harness.

Its hard for me to believe the yellow tach wire is supplying voltage to make the motor run . I would check the connector and see if someone had repined the yellow . There may have been a problem with the pink wire that supplies the 12v and instead of running a new wire and was not using the tack wire they just repined it to the pink wire location . I would verify all pin locations with the instructions Doug had provided .
