Electromotive XDi
Has anyone used the XDi with the LS2? Does the XDi use the factory style plug on the crank trigger wheel, allowing use of the factory reluctor wheel since they are both 60-2?

Thats a sweet distributor setup. How does it perform? ever with nitrous? I was thinking about going that way with my boat motor. I ended up using the edelbrock/msd conversion. I feel too confined with this setup. After reading all this I think I am going to get the msd 6010 box. I wanna put the squizzzzzzzzz on some foooozzzzzzzzzz.

Hey shawn. With that catch can and my ls6 valley cover. Would I just cap both valve covers and be ok with that, or would I still need a breather on the covers? Im puking alot of oil on my top end. Im running 20-30 minutes wide open sometimes on a good river run.

To *93ls7z* or anyone else that needs to know. You can easily find TDC on any engine by using a positive stop. Both Jeg's and Summit sell a tool (cheap) or you can make one yourself out of an old spark plug by knocking the insulator out and threading the inside for a bolt to adjust thelength you screw into the cylinder. take all the plugs out, screw the tool in # 1 like a normal plug, turn engine over by hand (slowly) until piston comes up against tool. make a pointer out of stiff wire and fix it to engine witha bolt and bend end to a spot at 90* angle to crank pulley (close to pulley and pointing at center of crank). Mark crank pulley at that spot. Turn crank by hand (slowly) in OPPOSITE direction until piston comes up against tool again. Mark spot at your pointer again. Halfway between the two marks is exactly TDC. The adjustable bolt lets you adjust your tool so the piston stops about, say 15-20degrees either side of top dead center. Once you check it a couple times, you can make a decent mark on the crank pulley. Bear in mind, unless you pin or key the pulley, it will change every time you remove the pulley. After you do it a couple times, it's very simple. Hope this helps someone. Ron

Hmm I'm not sure about the LS6 valley cover. Hows it work? It draws vacuum from the top of the LS6 valey cover rather than from the valve cover? You would need to connect a vacuum source to that port with pcv valve, then a breather on one or both of the valve covers. I'm really not sure. It's been a while since i read up on them.

Its got alot of vacuum. I was looking at the norris web site and they had some pics up. They had the intake and ls6 valley cover hooked up to the can. I was wondering what they may have done with the valve covers(it didnt show.)
