Its good to be back, its been a few years since I had an old school camaro ground pounder.

Its good to be back in the saddle again, picked up this bad boy today from Ohio and if you see me cruising around in this Beast next season in the west, s/w, n/w or south suburbs of Chicago stop by and say hey.

Here is my new Beast, a Prostreet 1971 Camaro RS, Split bumper big block:

Nice JP !!! More details man, what BB, tranny, rear end? I've been looking at a 71 Z28 clone, it's in good shape, not pro street but it would be close soon.

Great purchase, sounds like everything is already done, now you just gotta make it your own. IIRC a 454 bored .030 over is a 468, sounds better than 454. Your making me want to go buy that Z28 clone.

I though bored .040 was 468 but I hope your right as I much rather have a 468 vs. 462 cubes!

Can you guys confirm whether a 454 bored .030 is 468 or 462 cubes.

Thanks in advance for that info guys and thanks for the kind words as she comes home tommorrow and I am pumped up!

Turns out the top end on my 461 motor in my new camaro was shot so I spent $3,000 more and was able to get this monster pump gas Pat Musi Racing 555 cid, N/A 740 HP and 700 TQ, pump gas motor, that has more than enough power to propel my bad boy into the 9s (on motor). I was able to take full advantage of this buyers market and bought this for .50 cents on the dollar and got a written warranty from the seller also.

Here are pics of my new bad boy 740 HP, Pat Musi Racing built 555 Cid, pump gas motor:
