Default What motor for 70 camaro?

If you can swap any motor into a 1970 camaro, what would it be?

I've been looking at several different motors and thinking about the swap..want at least 450-500 whp but cannot decide what motor would be best to go with

Your opinions?

depends what your after really...

if you want to stay period correct i would go for a 396 build or if you want to go modern you can go ls and easily make that kind of power out of either motor.
