98-00 will have an EGR tube on the intake manifold right behind the TB and a raised floor on the bottom of the intake manifold

01-02 will not have EGR (unless aftermarket) and a dropped floor on the bottom of the intake manifold

Depends on what your doing. Unless you have a cam or head/cam setup the fast 92 will most likely prove not to be worth $700 more than the ls6 intake.

be careful with the F.A.S.T. intakes. A company i deal with here says that the F.A.S.T intakes leak since they are more than a 1 peice intake. They have to take them apart and re-seal them right when they get them, and also after so many miles, they say its good to take them apart and re-seal them again. I also was looking for a good 90mm also and found a company that will take my LS6 intake, remove the snout, and replace it with a 90mm snout for a fraction of the cost. Im not sure if, or how much more air the F.A.S.T intake flows, but it may be something to look into.

No, it did not. Until you mod the car, a FAST 92 is probably a waste of $1,000 once you add in the TB.
