Hi everyone

I had some queries and I want to clarify them,BTW I have 2001 LS1 CAMARO SS so:
1-How can I be sure that my CAMARO is an SS?? w/o considering engine,hood,rear spoiler and rims

2-Which intake is better,the new Weiand Street Warior LS Series or F.A.S.T 92mm intake??

3-What is the standard size's for Injectors,spark plug wires and Throttle body for standard CAMARO SS??

4-Im having Hoosier semi-slicks on rear wheels and my gear,clutch,shaft and differential are standard (not racing),so does it effect them??

5-Can I install Magnuson Supercharger (MP112) on my CAMARO?? cauz as the info from their site it only comes in c5 corvette and GTO?!!

1. Look in the drivers door for the sticker with RPO codes. If there is a WU8 then it's a real SS. If it has Y2Y also you have additional SLP options. Check your passengers door for those.

2. No idea

3. 28lb injectors, 75mm throttle body, dunno about the wires

4. It should not affect them

5. I have no idea

But still I didnt understand 1 thing,why the chasis number on 1st sticker(Service Parts Identification) its not the same as the second sticker(MFD BY GM OF CANADA) AND THRID STICKER(Tire Pressure's) which are in bottom of it?? As I goin throw PICS of different SS camaro's I seen the the numbers are same in all 3 stickers!!

ummmm , OK what about the RIMS?? its written 275/40 R17,so its standard on SS ONLY right??

The WS6, Firehawk and SS came with 275/40/17s

If the car is a 6 speed then the rear end could be on borrowed time. Just depends on how hard you launch the car.

That size wheels and tires came standard on SS's yes. I dunno about the stickers

1.THe SS has nothing special done to the engine to set it apart.

2. THe FAST 92mm would be better but without a cam and some longtubes at least it is way over kill. You really needs heads to take full advantage of the FAST. I make about 430ish at the wheels through a LS6 just fine..

3. THE SS got the same as every other LS1 of the year.

4. Slicks on a stock rear and 6spd is asking for trouble. People break there rears on street tires.

5. THe kit has to be for the LS1 in the F-body to be sure everything fits. I would call them directly..

Marhaba, Camaro ss 2001, Keyfuk?

The Magnacharger will NOT fit under the hood without lowering the K member and cutting into the cowl to make room for the drive.

I am however working with a new company that manufacturers a 3L twin screw top mount supercharger that may fit under the hood of an Fbody with little to no modification. PM me if your interested.

1. WU8 rpo code on driver side door. Passenger door may have SLP sticker (may not)

3. Injectors depend on year 01 were 28.8lb, TB is 78mm

4. No effect.

5. There are Magnacharger kits for F-bodies. They are modified from other kit's. check the sponsors forums for them. I believe they require you to lower the K-member.

1. I believe the orignal RPO sticker is not sticked 2 my side door cauz the chasis numer is different

General RAAM

Take last 8 digits of VIN code and call SLP (1-732-349-2109) and ask them what build # your SS is. If it's a true SS, they'll tell you what it is. If it's not a true SS, then they won't have a listing for your car. The K-Member is the undercarriage of the car that the rack & pinion mounts to and the motor mounts hold the engine in place.

I belives 97 (vette) & 98 were 28.8 lb injectors as well. 00's got 26lb injectors.

5. Magnacharger will not fit under the cowl/windshield w/o modification to the cowl and/or using shims to lower the K-member.
