Default 1969 Camaro LS2/TKO600 Swap

1969 X33 Car
Stock Suspension/Steering
LS2 Carbrurated
Correct Oil Pan #GM19212593

Any one have info on swapping a LS2/TKO600 into a Gen1 car? I have read a ton about the LS2/T56 but nothing on the 5 speed. Really I am looking for is info on motor mount headers that work with each other. And also, what motor mounts get the engine the lowest. I Have the idea that I should keep the engine in the same place (stock Location )forward/Backward in relation to fire wall, but not sure?

You can direct your question to www.lateral-g.net or www.pro-touring.com. There are several vendors there that can help you, as well as people that have done that exact swap. Those sites specialize in your type of swap. Lots of guys running LSX motors in first gen camaros.

Cool! I'll be going with a 427 LSX in my recent purchase of a 67 Camaro.
