Default First LS1

Been a member for a few weeks looking around and researching. I was finally able to get a 1999 Z28 last night. Its an A4 with 114k miles on it. The only mods are billet grill, halo headlights, LT1 tips, and radio. The grill and tips are off and the headlights will be out when I buy some stock ones.

I have already ordered a SLP lid. A good friend of mine has 1998 28lb injectors we are putting in, a cutout and tune with HP Tuners. Then next mod will be a stall.

Let me know what you'll think about it and the mods.

holy dust batman! lmao get some purple power or something on that engine bay and clean it up a bit.

aren't 28lb injectors stock? and mods sound good, you should also delete egr, and air, and an ls6 intake. you should pull those halo's apart and do the whistler mod tho untill you get stock headlights, or you might like those.

Yeah it really needs a good detail. 1999-2000 Cars had 26lb injectors stock. I forgot to mention that we are doing the free mods. And hopefully the LS6 intake will be after the stall.

You shouldn't change the injectors with out having the car tunned for them. It will not run right & may do damage. Injectord do not do anything for power. You only upgrade them when you make more power and need them.

As for the injector size, I am 99.9% sure only the 2000's had the 26lb injectors.

The car will be tuned with the injectors with HP Tuners. Here is where I've read about the injector size. And a few other places on this site.

I'm not saying that you are wrong, but if you are right then the sticky should be changed.

Can anybody else chime in about the injector size?
