98 z28 vs 05 gto my friend has on 05 gto 6 speed with k&n fipk and straight pipes. he always talks about how hes gunna smoke me but when it comes down to it he never wants to run em. ive got a 98 z28 with k&n fipk, hooker lts, borla exaust with no cats, 3.73 gear, and underdrive pulley. its also an auto thats been tuned. zex racer plugs and plug wires also just recently installed. it has a rebuilt tranny with heavier clutch plates and also a zex nitrous kit waiting to be installed. i wanna beat him without the nitrous first tho. some of my friends think he will win and some think i will. what do you guys think? any input would be appreciated. this is my first post

You should take him from a dig if you have a good tune in your car & stickey tires. From a roll, the M6 has a slight advantage, but you should have more power than him with your mods.
. How good can he drive stick too?

unfortunately hes an excellent driver which is why im at all scheptical. lol. hes got us out of so many bad situations through the years which i completely appreciate. he still doesnt know i have nitrous being installed which would be hilarious if i used it and didnt tell him. haha. thanks for the input guys. only 1 way to find out i guess
