Default Painted or ceramic pacesetters

hey guys im looking at getting some pacesetter longtube headers. obviously the ceramic coated ones are better but are the painted really that bad? i'm a poor college kid with a lot of school loans to pay back so im trying to keep the price down quite a bit. if i end up with the painted ones, would a can of heat resistant paint help the rust problem and make them last longer? thanks

Well u could use a can of the high heat but u really need a oven big enough to bake the paint on but it would not hurt to try.

Get ceramic.. as blk/slvr02ss said you'll need an over to really get that paint to adhere to the surface! Spend the money now to get the ceramic coated ones n never look back!

as you and everyone here knows stainless is the way to go, but i can appreciate a college person on budget. the ceramics will last you a few years which is a decent amount of time (can save for stainless lol). like said before, painted will not only rust but deteriorate before you kno it. remember, you get what you pay for..

but if rain isn't really an issue (Nevada/Arizona=minimal rain), then painted is fine? any significant performance difference?
