Default 2002 Camaro SS 6.0 Swap ?

I have a camaro ss with the slp package. I recently went to the shop to see how much a mild cam setup and headers with full exhaust would cost. The total that came up was around 1,700. He said he could do a 6.0 swap with full exhaust and tune for 2 grand. I was wondering what the pros and cons of this swap would be. I know that this swap is very good for later down the road with heads and cam but im trying to see how strong the stock 6.0 with full exhaust and tune will help out.

Take the LS2 and slap a cam in it before it goes in.

Def do it if it is an LS2! Can never go wrong with more cubes! Not sure about 6L cams, just look around at the sponsors and go from there!

Default found out more info

The swap is a L92 from an escalade. I keep reading that this is actually a 6.2 and has around 403 hp and 415 torque . I guess what im wondering now is how buildable are they ?

Stock wise vs the ls1/ls2 it's a lot stronger.
There's an Escalade in my part of town turboed running 15psi / stock.
He hasn't put it on the dyno yet but guesstimates around town he's putting over 750rwhp.

L92 and LS2 are basically the same setup as far as engine parts and mods. they are also very similar with the LS1, but not exact. so the cost for modding the LS2 are a little more expensive, but the outcome is well worth it.
my 2 cents.
