Hey, I'm thinking about getting an 81 Camaro Z28, brand new rebuild 350 engine and trans, clean interior and exterior, and its one hell of deal. Unfortunately due to the lack of funds I would have to send my LT1 Firebird Formula, which i daily drive, to afford it. Is a car that old OK as a Daily Driver? Would it ruin it? As far as showing it is concerned because I would show it in the area and car shows and such.

You could daily drive it and still show it if you take care of it imo.

Probably won't get as good gas mileage as the Firebird though.
