Default my 98 Z project

Well finally got myself 98 Z after years thinking about picking one up. Have had few 2nd gens. My plan is to clone the appearance of a SS car , the usuall bolt ons (slp loudmouth , slp lid , p&p tb , ram air , ls6 intake) , then some time build a Ls6 motor for it. Upgrade the brakes and suspension a bit. Not looking to set the world on fire with it. Just a fun , reliable street car.

I usually don't like the look of C5 wheels on that body style but those look sharp!

on the fence about long tubes.
the rims actually look pretty good on the car.
if anyone has the body mouldings and the z28 badge for the right side of the car please let me know (color don't matter). also the air box from a ws6 or ss car(think they use the same one)

been doing little things to the car. debaffled the sock lid , fra mod , egr mod , raised the lower air box , painted the camaro in the grill and the tail light panel in silver , order a gauge overlay from 6le. but also found a few thing not so good. temp gauge never worked when i bought the car , so out i go to buy a new sensor got the wrong one , had to order the right one in. gets here put it in and still no working gauge. proceed to pull the cluster out to look at it , find all my lights have black rag chunks shoved in them , the gauge not making any contact. remove the black rag , try to fix the gauge , put it back together install it back in the car. hit the key , get the air bag light on , asr off , abs light and the brake light on. so time to find some air bags , and the ebcm. oh the engine light will come on sometimes under spirited driving at times , but always goes out usually within a day.
