Things that wear at 100k miles 02 Z28
I am looking at buying a 02 z28 M6 from a dealer with 104k being sold as is, what are some things that wear at this mileage or that i should pay attention to other then the normal tires, brakes etc.

There is nothing that should be broken at that mileage if the car has been maintained properly throughout it's life. But, I would be concerned with making sure that all of the routine maintenance has been kept up with, like transmission fluid, diff fluid, spark plugs, brake fluid, replacing shocks if needed, etc., etc. That is all important stuff that will help to promote the longevity of the car.

My '02 is right at that mileage at this moment (103k), so I'll give a quick rundown of what has happened with mine in the last several thousand miles:
- Main belt tensioner and pulley needed to be replaced.
- Alternator needed to be replaced.
- Driver's side power window motor.
That's it. Prior to that, the water pump was weeping a bit around 90k miles. And prior to that, all it's ever needed was regular maintenance items like brakes/tires/fluids/filters (I have the maintenance record for this car going back to the beginning). No issues with tie rods nor ball joints, nor anything else in regards to steering or suspension. I've done my best to maintain this car well over the years, and it has repaid me with reliable operation and very little need for repair.

Well my '00 Z28 is at 191,000 miles, and going strong (knock on wood). So 104k isn't bad. All I've had to replace outside of routine stuff was the rear due to a bad bearing,(Gave me an excuse for some 3.73s) and the rear shocks. I know the previous owner replaced the fuel pump, power steering pump, and alternator. And the alternator was only because the ps pump killed it when it blew. If taken care of, these are very reliable cars. I will note that the previous owner of my car changed the oil every 3k like clockwork.
