Whisper lid Q
not sure where i should put this soo... here we go
I am probably going to be buying a '98 z28 in the next week hopefully. here is my question: the guy said that with the way he has setup the whisper lid it sucks in A LOT and that in a decent amount of rain it can suck water in. how can i prevent this from happening? is there any type of netting i can throw in front?
Thanks

I suspect that he has cut open the plastic under the lid to get more airflow.
I have also and have never had a problem with water getting in.
When you get it, open up the lid and pull the air filter and you likely will see about 3-4 inches by 12 inches where he has opened up the ability for air to flow in.
That is what may be allowing water to get in. You can always recover that newly cut opening.
