Default Stripped 2000 z/28

Hey guys, just purchased 2000 z/28 that was stripped of ls1 engine/6 speed trans, computer, and neccessary wiring to complete the swap into a gen 1 camaro, don't know why cause this is a great body with only 120k on it, anyway I found a lt1 engine with 4160e trans, computer, wiring and accessaries out of a 96 Impala SS, at a very reasonable price, Will this work or worth the effort?? Thanks

Not what I'm asking, no question which is the better choice if money was not an issue, just need to know if the package I can purchase will work without too many issues, knowledge of computor hook-ups and wiring is limited.

honestly, anything can be done. by the time you get done with the swap, you will probalby have as much or more money into it if you would have just went back with an lsx powerplant.

find a good 5.3l/4l60e combo instead. you'll make more power, and have fewer issues to deal with.
