Default Anybody running stepped headers??

Curious if anybody is running 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 long tube stepped headers. If so how do you like them? How is the install process compared to regular 1 7/8 headers? From what i have read stepped headers are the way to go, you get the good air flow and don't lose low end torque.

Any input from people who have them would be nice.

I recently installed my Kooks stepped 1 3/4" to 1 7/8" headers. Due to what appears to be a cam that was machined out of spec, I cannot comment on hp or mid-range differences.

I can say the install was a breeze compared the SLP tuned length LTs I pulled out. So much easier. I had to remove my oil drain plug to install the driver side so I wouldn't have to force and scrape them to get them in. Once the drain plug was removed, they slid rid into place, very easy install. I also purchased the Kooks full true dual system with the headers and the quality is worth the price, IMHO.

I say go for it
