I have plans of going to pick this up tomorrow the guy said he bought it in 2007 with 60k miles on it and he has garage kept it and taken it to shows and it has won a couple and has the troffys to prove it. MY question is does this sound like a good deal and is there anything i should look for or be aware of? I i have had a couple lt1's with high miles but i loved both of them.

Not a bad deal but what are you looking to do with the car? If youre looking for a car to modify down the road you can get a lot more bang for your buck since this one is bone stock. And 2001-2002 have a few nicer features than the 1998. But if youre looking for a low mile red six speed and this fits exactly what you want then go for it. They are getting hard to find unmolested and not ragged out.
