Ls1 won't start!
I have a 2000 Camaro Z28 LS1 with a LS6 intake. The car was starting yesterday, but would crank over more than usual before starting. Also the tach quit working yesterday. I replaced the starter a few days ago, so i thought maybe i damaged the crank sensor. I checked it today and it looks good. So i checked wires leading to sensor. They were sparking off the starter. I cut the wire and rerouted new wires to sensor. Now the car wont start at all. Did it jump timing? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Is your voltage good might be you caused a shortage and messed up the electrical a bit maybe why your tach went out also the starter may have been using to much voltage to crank the motor causing it to crank so much when starting up just my thoughts hope it helped

It was just a bad crank sensor.
