camaro clunk in rear end

Default camaro clunk in rear end

I have a 2000 camaro z28 and when i put it in reverse there is a clunk somewhere in my rear end and its only when i am accelerating in reverse. any ideas? the driveshaft seems to be tight. i tried the suspension forum but no responses yet

I had a buddy who replaced his lower control arms and he said that got rid of "clunky" noises in rearend. Might check those for tightness and bushing condition

lower control arms were fine, i found a 3 channel for cheap how hard is it to change it into a 4 channel?

I'm not positive but I know there's a few thigs you need to change if you want your trac control to work

ive heard my axles and backing plates but im not sure what those are. I've never really worked on a rear end

You might try doing some searching on here for more of that. I'm sure there are people who have done it alot.

got it figured out, the brace that follows the driveshaft came out of the slot near the transmission
