69 Camaro turbo 5.3 build I wanted something more cost effective than the sbcs I have been used to and with the potential to make more power, we will see ! Here are some pictures.

What gear did you end up with?
I also have a Gen 1 and started with a 3.90 (8.8 Furd rear end), and Cal Tracs, which was a no go with a 3400 converter and a big cube motor. I'm up to a 3.55, but still have a hook issue with 11" tires.
BTW.... your time beats my buddies 70 Nova (454, 'Glide, 4.88, tubbed w/four-link rear). His best lately has been a 6.88 w/1.42 60ft.

I also forgot to ask.... but what is your car's race ready weight? Mine came in heavier than I expected at 3310 w/full tank and no cage.
Some of the pork lies in the 4L80E, which is a very heavy, but everything else was selected on weight basis.
