Possible fix for the annoying "low oil light" problem
Hi all,
Heres a possible fix for the annoying situation when the "low ol light" stays on after the engine starts even though the dipstick says the oil level is fine and checking lots of times everything is fine, you know what I mean.
An interesting event happened last week though, the key must have had some dirt on it and the car did not recognise the chip so it went into security lock down. I researched the problem, gave the key and barrel a clean and it was fine. Now ever since then the oil light is on at the lights stage and then goes out when the engine turns on, just like it is supposed to do!
Spooky and what a result so the whole thing has worked out great for me.
I am not sure how you can induce a security lock down on purpose but if there is a way then it worked for me.
Thanks
