Swt SS

I have a 87 bertetta that was a v6 tbi car, I now have a 355sbc in it with a edelbrock 600cfm carb. I am using the stock feed fuel line to my mechanicial fuel pump and getting fuel all the way up to the carb but NO fuel into the carb. the feed line is the 3/4 fuel line connect? what else could cause no fuel to be going into the carb?..throttle cable is NOT connected at this time. thanks.
