Default Ls6 vs Fast Intake

Which one to get? Is the extra $300-$400 worth it with the Fast? Anyone have comparisons on the?

It really depends on what your overall goal is with the car and where you have money tied up @

You also should get everything forward of the TB to take full advantage of it if. FTP lid, bellows, MAF....and you'll need a tune. **** adds up.

I'd stick with the LS6 for now considering you just ordered a stock ported TB and have all the other stuff that is optimal for the LS6 (and will need upgraded for the FAST). You might want to consider doing the LS6 pcv conversion while you've got it off.

And like was mentioned, the swap will really add up as it's not just buying the manifold. You'd be better served getting the LS6, LT's, and tune -- and still likely have less money in your little mod spree.

What I mean is a 4" bellows, FTP 98mm lid, GM 90mm MAF. Not sure what other mods you have but all this stuff will compliment the FAST intake to get the most out of it.

I gained 20rwhp with a FAST and that setup but I already had H/C/E. If you only have bolt-ons so far I personally wouldn't bother with a FAST unless you plan on H/C later.

Same as everyone else save the fast for a cam build. With minimal mods you wouldn't notice much. You can get an ls6 cheap, LTs free exhaust and tune you'll get some good gains
