Default price of a decent 1st generation camaro?

Ive had 4th gen Camaros and always wanted a 1st generation Camaro. I was wondering what a nice 1st generation would cost. I don't really care about matching #'s I just want a nice Camaro that's clean and not full of bondo and rust. Is there any way to finance a 1st gen ?

IF looking at one and looking to finance it....personal loan works best to me.
The bank doesn't always see the value on a 40+ year old car....but they're getting better.

As for what they're worth...They're all over the place price wise as I'm sure you seen. I don't like the number game either since you can't do much with it before loosing value.
Also LOTS of fakes out there with swapped numbers and all.

I wish you luck in your search

Nice 1st gen Camaro base model that's CLEAN probably $10k and up. For a CLEAN z28 or ss $20k and up. Personal loan or home equity loan is about the only way of financing.

non-numbers matching rust free car with good paint, drivetrain, etc. is gonna start at $20K and go up from there.
personal loan is the only way to go unless you have outstanding credit, lots of existing assets and a good relationship with your banker.

Dont listen to this guy. Base models that are clean and not numbers matching are like 20. The Z28 and SS models are near 50k and even more depending on options.

I really kick myself in the *** for not getting that numbers matching, full rotisserie resto w/ GM sheetmetal 69 Z for $13.5 (1998)
I'd be sitting on a $60-80K car.

Not sure where to find those. I just bought a nice, not great, 69 RS for $25K. On average, I found that anything less than $20 will need a lot of work.
