Default What is this

What are these cut wires and the plug at the end? Previous owner had work done and now I'm trying to decide what was stupid and needs reverted back. Thank you guys for the help. Oh yeah, 2000 camaro ss, Thanks!

Looks to be around the egr valve area

Making me go outside and ****... lol here you go man.
As stated above it is for the EGR valve. Most likely deleted, but I have no Idea why the previous owner would have just left the wires like that smh...

Here's some pics of what the connector looks like and all 5 wires going into it.

One can spend a lot of time rationalizing what other people think is normal... but it's usually a waste of time, lol

If you don't have a SES light, then the EGR has likely been tuned out. I can see that you have a FAST intake, so they probably yanked it when they put that on. Why in the world they cut the connector off like that is bizarre as it looks like crap. If one is going to cut connectors for things that are no longer needed, it's not hard to cut it where it comes out of the loom and then just wrap some new electrical tape around it so it looks inconspicuous. Lazy...

Yea the previous owner did a shitty job on those wires

Is there a sticky somewhere on why to delete the EGR valve and how to do it properly so i can retrace the steps and make sure it was done right?
