Default Drive shaft?

Alright so i was wondering if there was a difference in drive shaft length between manual and auto ls cars, and if there was any difference in the tail shafts of either trannys. I am asking because i bought a 12 bolt and the yoke on the front of it is bigger than the stock drive shaft of my m6 car, he has a drive shaft that fits it but it was on an auto car and i wanted to know if it would work on my m6 car.

Thanks

NO difference in drive shaft length between manual and auto ls cars, eather one will fit the other, the 12 bolt has a 1350 u joint and your stock has a 1310 ? or so. His shaft will fit the 12 bolt AND your car
