Default My 2000 Camaro z28

Well I'm bored today so I decided to put up a thread with the car I'm working on. I usually always put some type of build thread, so hopefully I keep this car I won't need to make another lol.

Anyways, its a 2000 Camaro Z28 A4. I always loved red as my favorite color on sport cars, so this car drew me in Pretty much stock when I bought it except for a LS6 intake and 3.73 gears.

I'll slowly be working on the car, so this thread will be updated when somethings done. Here are some pics:

When I first bought it:

Couple months later I added a SLP Grill, whistler mod, vht corner lights, lowered, 5% tint, and swapped to C6 Z06 17x9 wheels. Also added SLP lid and Pacesetter long tubes.

Had 3 free dyno pulls, so this is un-tuned.

I installed Founders PHB, LCA's and relo brackets and ported TB.

And how it currently sits now

Thanks guys. I eventually want to get a sunoco hood and SS spoiler for outside appearance. Then do suspension work and either cam or NOS setup.

Today I just ordered a FLT level 4 trans, and I'll be installing a Yank PT4000 along with it. Cant wait

Nice, very clean. Black Berger panel would look killer on that.

It was already done when I bought the car. Although it's like a satin which I don't like. Either want it gloss with chrome insets, or back to red with black camaro inserts.

I noticed the HP difference on the dyno, why was pull #2 lower, and what did you do to make pull #3 better

I have a feeling my car's exterior will be mimicking yours almost exactly only with a lighter shade of tint on the corner lights. Was your dyno with or without headers? Also, what is your suspension setup? Car looks excellent, you've got a killer stance. That side profile shot is now my desktop wallpaper. Look forward to seeing more progress!

I **** you not, only difference was I removed my K&N filter.

It's all stock suspension right now. I cut the springs. I'll be getting some stranos in the future.

I want my tail lights tinted slightly also. That, or get the lt1 style lights

Also the dyno was with headers through an auto. The transmission shifted wacky because PCM was never tuned for the 3.73 gears I have. I ordered a FLT trans and have a Yank PT4000 going in.

Yeah that would look really good with the chrome Zr1's.

It was about 1 1/4 coil cut up front. And 1/2 coil plus hose mod on the rear.

Yeah gloss with chrome inserts would look sharp.
