Default Motor Mounts LS

Putting LS in my 69 camaro is one type mount better then the other. I've seen steel and aluminum, some with multiple mounting holes and so on. Is there one best for the 69 camaro.

I used the ones off ebay from Carone ? with the 1" set-back to keep the trans in the stock location.

Thanks I'll check that out. I thought it might be better to use the multi-position mount. I found one from Energy Suspension that included the poly motor mounts but only had one position mounting and they're made of steel.

Thanks, I see that there made by Hooker. I've taken out the heater box and welded in some sheet metal so the firewall is flush. I have a 4L60E trans, but would like to go to a 6 speed manual. So I thought maybe I should get the mounts with multiple mounting positions in case of clearance and trans mount problems. Any thoughts?

Get the hooker clamshell kit and be done with it. All their parts work together. Do a search or ask Toddoky on here. Great looking set up.

I second the Hooker/ Holley set up. I put the whole set up in my 68 and everything fit perfect. Headers, trans mount, motor mounts, and oil pan. They all work perfect together. Plenty of header clearance with stock steering box also. I just have to install the exhaust but I'm sure that will fit as nice as everything else.

I'm not sure if you already got the mounts. Look up Dirty Dingo mounts. They are actually adjustable. Make install a breeze.

What oil pan are you going to go with?
