1967 Camaro LS3 Engine Swap Questions
Hello, for starters I'm new to this site and I'm 18 and I own a 1967 Camaro. It's currently all factory stock but needs to be updated. And for all the die hard "keep it stock!" people, I plan on keeping the factory parts I take off and keep that way I can go back to factory if I choose to, or if I end up selling the car at some point, throw it into the deal to keep the car together.
But anyways. I am looking at the LS3 Connect and Cruise, so my questions are something like this...
Will the engine and transmission fit? Would I need to get the suspension and chassis changed? What types of exhausts will I be looking at? What else can anyone tell me?

If your car is a small block you shouldn't have to change front springs. If your car has drum brakes i would upgrade to disk. I have wilwood brakes on mine but i think there are brakets out there to use newer camaro brakes. Cheap upgrade. I have a turbo small block in mine and will be putting a stock 6.0 liter and upgrade as time goes by to teach my son how to work on the car and have fun upgrading as time goes by.

My 68 was born with a 6 cylinder, but long gone by the time I bought it and who knows what else is missing. I had no problem making "changes"
Anywho, it your car so do as you like....and I commend you on keeping the parts that come off for the future "maybe".
I can't speak on the connect and cruise, but will say IF it uses the "hot rod" pan....change it as it will hang too low.
