If you want as loud as possible while still having a muffler, then you can forget about Magnaflow, unless perhaps you're referring to the small, bullet/round style Magnaflow. The muffer used in their F-body catback is pretty quiet by most peoples' standards.
I would also suggest getting rid of any catalytic converters (not sure if the V6s had one or two), as this will greatly increase exhaust volume as well (assuming you don't need them for a sniffer test).

For maximum volume while still having some sort of "muffler", I would suggest a cat delete and a single Dynomax race bullet in the I-pipe. You could then put a "Y" where the I-pipe crosses over the axle (similar to the SLP Loudmouth catback) and still have dual exit tail pipes.
Or, if you don't mind a single exit tailpipe, you could put a Flowmaster 10-series race muffler in place of the stock crossflow muffler. That would probably be just as loud as the above setup, maybe louder, but you wouldn't have dual tailpipes (not sure if that matters to you or not).
Personally, I think the Flowmaster 10-series sounds better than the Dynomax race bullet, at least on the V8s, but frankly I've never heard either one on a 3.4L.
