Default No ignition - 01 Camaro Z28 auto

I know there are tons of threads related to this but I can't figure out what is going on. Replaced the 4L60E trans and the car ran and drove for 30ish minutes. Started it several times just fine. I go to start again it rolls over once but didn't start and all dash lights turn out. Alarm works fine, top dash light flashes when locked, off when unlocked, and the security dash light does not come on at all. Placing the key in the ignition, the chime will sound if the door is open so there is power at the ignition. When the key is turned to the ON position or start position, nothing happens at all; no dash lights, no gauges, don't hear the fuel pump, nothing at all. Tried to start in both park and neutral, and with brake pressed.

Tested/inspected: all fuses, battery is good, ign/starter relays good

Ignition switch? Is there a way to test the ignition switch without replacing?

Can starter wiring be faulty? Before the failed partial start, a fair amount of brake cleaner was liberally sprayed on the starter side of the motor to clean off spilled trans fluid. Could this have shorted starter wiring?

Thanks for any input.

Did you remove the starter to do the transmission swap?
