i have a 99 Camaro and it has manual windows but it also has window buttons in the cent console which I've never seen besides my car and I'm curious why they are there?.....there's wires connected to them and they light up and all but they don't so anything (that I know of). I've tried putting in a fuse in the window fuse slot by still nothing. Can anyone help me??





I unhooked the button just to see.

Pffft.. ..the way our window motors work I thank god every day that my STOCK window switches work.

Looks like someone wired in an aftermarket power window setup. Your best bet is to take the door panels off and see where the wiring is leading in your doors and figure it out from there. If the manual crank windows work, I'd be willing to bet that the motors are proprietary and once they stopped working the previous owner couldn't find replacements and just put the manual cranks back on.
