Value of 1969 Camaro Inline 6 250 ci.
Hello all.
Im looking to trade my 2002 camaro ss for this 1969 camaro inline 6 plus $ on my end. How much not sure yet. Hes asking 21,000 for the car. Ive looked at some 68 camaros with 383 strokers and 396's for around 21,000 but this car looks nice and mostly original the owner says. has aftermarket ac . has one rust sport by the truck other than that rust free. Thanks for the advice.

Depends on what you think your car is worth and the $$ you need to add. I would say that car is in the 10-13K range. Not that desirable of a combo and looks to need paint. figure a repaint at 6 K minimum, and swap to a v8 and you are at 20K. after underbody/suspension and interior, a clean good paint 69 for 24K looks like a deal.
This sold for 14K, with a V8

I wouldn't even make an offer as the asking price is far enough outside of reality that the owner probably wouldn't take a fair offer seriously, and dealing with people like that is rarely worth the hassle. The car isn't in horrible shape, but it obviously needs at least a minor restoration, has a very undesirable drivetrain and isn't a highly sought after original trim level. I'd just move on and look for something more reasonable.

The price of first gens are on the rise again.
Not a numbers/collector car really.(most want at least a V8)
Looks like its all there and still needs a little help. (paint needs work and stripes are wrong)
69's are more wanted than 67's and 68's. (even though more 9's were made)
I agree with the above $15-17K max. (IF it's what you say rust wise and running wise)
