Remove 02 Camaro Radiator Shroud?

Remove 02 Camaro Radiator Shroud? Has anyone removed the front radiator shroud that sits in the bumper in front of the condenser? Any negative results in doing so? Thinking about installing the chr1313 lower intake and shroud would have to be removed/altered.

I've heard both opinions....I'm talking about the plastic piece that the condensor kind of sits in. Looks like it guides air up to the air lid assembly. Questions I have is when you install a lower intake do you have to modify that piece or just remove it? Thanks guys
