Thank you for the kind words!! If I wasn't trying to do a full Rotisserie on a 69 X -11 RS/SS Camaro and building a casa, I wouldn't even entertain the thought.....

However, the 69 has taken way more time & funds than expected. So, unfortunately my priorities have shifted. I'll miss the SS and it'll be hard to replace.

Smile Long Over-Due Update

Well, since the Wife laid down the law and decided we were going to keep "Davin", he's been stored away for Winter. I did enjoy getting him out a few days the past couple months; however, today I decided to pull the plug on a few more Upgrades.
  • FAST 92 Intake Ported by Vengeance Racing (Taking Advantage of the Free Porting)
  • Nick Williams 92 TB

Next up on the list will be a Custom Grind Cam and then sending my Heads off to AI for some Porting & Polishing.

I will take some pictures of the Intake & the TB once they get here, along with the install.

I will say, talking to David at Vengeance Racing was very satisfying. He responded to my email extremely quickly, answered all my questions, and never made me feel rushed. First time I have ever dealt with them.

Here's a few pics that I snapped when I got Davin out a couple weeks ago to grab the wife & daughter some soup from Jason's Deli. Both of them came down with the flu.

Glad you decided to keep your car, it really is perfect. How do you like those NT05R's? I have a set sitting in my garage ready to be mounted.

The Wife is happy.... And to me, that is what's important. Sadly, I didn't get to enjoy it much the entire year of 2016. I first put it up for sale on the forum back in the summer of 2015. At that time, it had 37,500 miles.... And just now rolled 40,000 miles. Ha Ha!

As for the NT05R's- I haven't had my car to the drag strip yet, since putting them on, but on the street- I love them!! They're roughly 2 years old and still look brand new. All though, they only have a few thousand miles on them. I'm hoping this Spring I can get her on the track. I also plan on making the F-Body Reunion in Memphis this year!

Default Parts Are Coming In....

Well, my Ported FAST 92MM Intake just came in. I have a tracking number for my Nick Williams 92MM TB....

And, I just completed my order for a Cam, along with getting my Heads to AI for some P&P. I'm hoping to get them in the mail this weekend!

Building a straight line car, one for the course or just a fun driver?

Honestly, all the above. I plan to hit the Drag Strip a few times; however, I love road courses & autocross! More than anything, I want it to be safe, fun, & reliable without sacrificing my AC or Drivability. That's why I've chosen the Suspension that I have.....

So, here's a few pics of the Intake. It's clear as day the Porting job that Vengeance Racing did.... I can't wait to start tearing Davin down!

I love participating in the Annual Hot Rod Pour Tour, along with a few other Tours that have started up. Enjoying my SS, making memories with the Family is what means the most to me.

Thumbs up FAST 92MM & NW92MM TB Installed!!

So, I finally got around to installing my Intake & TB. I documented the entire process, and I have to say- What a Pain the ***!! I would much rather work on my SS Trailblazer than the SS Camaro!!

With that being said, if you take your time, it truly isn't that bad. Just be prepared to shed a lot of blood.....

This was prior to me removing anything.... First thing that I did was disconnect the Battery and remove my Strut Bar.

Next was removing the Blackwing Air Intake, along with the MAF and Smooth Bellow.

Then the Trottle Body came off, Wiring Harness, & Fuel Injectors.....

Finally, after making sure I disconnected everything, double checking, re-checking.... The Intake was off!! What a PITA!!

Before I installed the New Intake & TB, I decided to do some cleaning and polishing. Doesn't look to bad for 15 Years Old!!
