2001 SS rear end issue
Hi everybody, ok so here is my situation...
My 2001 SS camaro 6 speed and I were driving and I opened it up and speed shifted from 1st-2nd, next thing I know, the rear end thumps and it begins to rub both tires, thats the only way I can really discribe it. The rear just rubs on the fenders and the gears go in but the car vibrates really bad, I dont know if it is the transmission or the rear end or both, my guess is both, any ideas or opinions???

If the tires are in fact rubbing on your rear quarter panels, sounds like to me you broke and/or bent a lower control arm. It's possible you could have hurt the rear-end as well, but for the rear-end to actually physically move, something in the chassis/suspension broke.
I'd check both LCA's and your Panhard Bar to start with....
