Default manual window/locks on a 2001 SS?

I'm looking for a 4th gen SS (again, it'll be my fifth 4th gen). And I've found one locally thats pretty well built up. Its a hard top 2001 SS, but i noticed it had manual windows and locks. Now. I've seen some real base Z28's like this, but never a SS. Is this possible, or were all the SS's built upon higher optioned cars? The seller states that the car is a true SS. And I know I can have him send me a picture of the door card with the WU8 code, and have already requested it. But it would be nice to know for sure from some more knowledgeable people than me. Thanks in advance for the advice.

Default

I have seen quite a few SS cars with manual windows...don't quote me on this as I am sure other guys will chime in but I'm pretty sure they call it the "stripper" package and I think the RPO code for it is 1SC. I would think If you googled it you would find some other related thread
