Default Camaro won't start!!

Hopefully someone can help with this!! I have a 2001 a4 Ss that I just put in a b&m pro ratchet shifter. I've got it all in and now the car won't start. I bypassed the neutral safety switch, hooked my orange and black wire to my black and white wire for the hatch to pop and I've hooked the light green and brown to a toggle switch for back up lights. All my fuses and relays are good and everything works but will not start! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Won't crank at all. Doesn't do anything when you turn the key to start.

Well that is your clue. your problem is in the neutral safety circuit.

Get out the test light and look at your wiring diagram and trace it out.

No luck. Out of the six wires going to the shifter I have used all six. What's got me is the purple/white wire or dark green are neither one hot. Everyone said to put them together and it will bypass neutral safety switch but doesn't seem to be working in my car. All the wires in my console have been cut at one time and I had to trace them back to find correct color. The person who owned my car before had it all rigged up and I'm trying to fix some of his mess. Car run when I pulled into garage and now can't get it to crank at all

I put the purple/white wire and green wire in a toggle to hopefully use as a kill switch. I have since taken it off and tried just putting them together and it didn't make a difference. The purple/white wire and dark green wire don't show up on at test light to be hot with a continuity checker. Should one or the other be? What feeds them or grounds them to work? If anyone knows please help. I'm at a loss! Thanks.
