what is the widest rim and tire I can put on my 1998 f-body Camaro without having to mini-tub it or tub it

Usually a 315 tire with an 11 inch rim

Rubbing on the inner wheel well and/or the lip of the outer wheel well. It's kind of hit or miss with these cars. Some of the easy and common solutions are to roll the lip of the outer wheel well, beat the inner wheel well with a hammer, an maybe use an adjustable panhard bar

well I know I'm going to be running a 10 inch rim so if I ran the next size down from a 315 you think I would be alright I know it might be a hard thing to know until you try it

Yeah it really is hard to say for sure, but yes in general a 10" rim with maybe a 295 or 305 should have no issue whatsoever. If you are lowered this becomes more of a problem as well
