Default v6 to v8 swap f body

hey guys first time ever being on a forum so don't really know how to use it completely. tried searching the forum for my answer but may be doing it wrong. however I got a v6 94 camaro with a 5 speed t5 i pickee up for trade on a yerf dog go cart and 100 bucks. i know everyone will say its not worth it buy a v8 car however i already have a 4.8\5.3 sitting. i was considering going LT1 and spraying it however i like the 4.8/ 5.3. considering i have one turboed in my 05 single cab and hasnt given me a hick up thats what im heading with. so really my only question is this. i know i have to buy a new K member to go from v6 to v8 however i want to be sure i can use the lt1 k member or do i need to buy a aftermarket tubular k member? i can get the kmemeber for the lt1 for 80 bucks, rather do that than spend 400 on a tubular. thanks in advance. I'm pretty sure the ls k member bolts straight into the lt1 frame. Hell, the k members may be identical.

don't forget that you need a new trans, driveshaft, pcm, wiring harness, and gauge cluster.

so just purchase an ls1 k member to bolt in and should take the 5.3 without an issue. i was gonna get an msd system for her and transmission is covered, probably go with a th400 or the t56 if i can find one at the yard and get lucky. if not th400 with stall and transbrake. those little things im not too worried about just getting the engine in. i was hoping there was a mount conversion to make it easier but I guess not haha

What do those k members sell for? I just pulled mine to put in one from UMI. Wasn't sure what I was going to do with it.

LS K-member brackets that fit your 3.4L K-member. https://www.holley.com/products/exha...ts/71221001HKR

You will need a '98-'02 steering rack, DOES NOT need to be from a V8 car!
You may need the matching Intermediate Steering Shaft as well, Not sure as my car is a 2001.
