Will my 69 camaro weigh more or less than my 99 Z28? i HAVE a 69 camro i am goi ng to put a LS1 in there and i also have a 99 camaro Z28 which will weigh more? how much does the 69 weigh from the factory?

your 69 will weigh less than the 99 with the ls1, depending on options, etc. Figure a small block first gen Camaro without air weighs about 3300 lbs.

One of the Z10s I had a while back,
an RS/SS with deluxe 712 interior, factory AC, power windows, 350 CI and auto weighed 3165 without me in it.
The car had 17" torque thrust wheels, other than that it was restored original and numbers matching.

my '69 weighs 2950. I'm running a 327 out of a '66 Vette and a four speed tranny. The only option this car came with from the factory is the SS option. No AC, power door locks, windows, etc., radio/heater delete.
My '98 Trans Am weighs something like 3,750, with the LS1 and T56.

Like the above posts suggest, it all comes down to what options you have and how you do weight reduction. It could weigh considerably less or considerably more depending on suspension, wheels, interior and performance upgrades.
