Rear hatch not opening all the way?

Default Rear hatch not opening all the way?

Is there a way to make the rear hatch open on the first try EVERY time...... Some times i hit the hatch release and it doesnt pop all the way and i have to hit it again....
Any help is welcome..

You can fix this problem by installing a stronger spring to pop the hatch, but i have done this and now I have to slam my hatch 37 times to get it closed all the way. I would recommend just dealing with hitting the button twice.

just install a second spring on the hatch release.. installuniversity.com has a writeup on it. I used a second spring that is enough to pop the trunk every time but no soo hard its a pain to close.
